By b0oua Jul 3, 2024

Adding his name to Scarlett Johansson’s list of allegations, Morgan Freeman claims that an artificial intelligence-generated voice that sounds like him was used. We also discuss the close friendship that exists amongst the actors who played the roles in “Fancy Dance,” which exists even now.

One of the most recent celebrities to publicly discuss suspected attempts to imitate the voices of celebrities using artificial intelligence is Morgan Freeman.

The actor, who has won an Academy Award and is recognized for his work in voiceovers, came to social media on Friday to express his gratitude to his admirers who have informed him about imitations of his voice that were made by artificial intelligence.

The post that Freeman made on Friday on X (which was then known as Twitter) read, “Thank you to my incredible fans for your vigilance and support in calling out the unauthorized use of an artificial intelligence voice imitating me.” Because of your dedication, authenticity and integrity continue to be of the utmost importance. I am thankful. Both “scam” and “Identity Protection” were among the hashtags that were used on his post.

According to claims in the media, a user on TikTok who identifies herself as Freeman’s niece recently uploaded movies to the platform that supposedly incorporate narration from an artificial intelligence-generated version of the actor’s voice.

Not only does Freeman provide the voice for CBS News, but he also narrates the film March of the Penguins and the Netflix series Life on Our Planet. These are just two examples of the actual voice work that Freeman has done.

This comes after Scarlett Johansson took legal action against OpenAI last month for allegedly stealing and impersonating her voice after she declined to license it to the business. Freeman’s article comes after Johansson’s statement. During that time period, Johansson issued a statement in which she stated that after she declined OpenAI’s request to be a voice named “Sky” for their artificial intelligence system, the business that was founded by Sam Altman then imitated her voice.

The following is an excerpt from her statement: “When I heard the released demo, I was shocked, angry, and in disbelief that Mr. Altman would pursue a voice that sounded so eerily similar to mine that my closest friends and news outlets could not tell the difference.”

Morgan Freeman, who is 87 years old, is criticizing a voiceover on TikTok that is a product of artificial intelligence and attempts to imitate his famous voice.

“Thank you to my incredible fans for your vigilance and support in calling out the unauthorized use of an artificial intelligence voice imitating me,” the actor who won an Academy Award wrote in a message that he posted on social media. Because of your dedication, authenticity and integrity continue to be of the utmost importance. In his post, he expressed his gratitude and included the hashtags #AI #scam #imitation #IdentityProtection.

“Narrated by me, Morgan Freeman,” the voiceover says, sounding similar to the actor’s baritone, which is famous for narrating nature documentaries such as “Life on Our Planet” and playing the voice of God in “Bruce Almighty.” The TikTok account shared a video of a woman pretending to be Freeman’s niece. According to the voiceover, the video is titled “Justine’s Camera Roll.”

In a later statement, the creator referred to the video as a “obvious joke.”

A day in the life of Freeman’s “niece” is described in the video clip. The narrator says, “Justine begged for money for what she said would be a cultural experience in Spain,” while video snippets show the youngster appearing to explore Spain.

The AI-version is still advancing, The request was made for my credit card so that she could make a reservation for what she claimed was a small activity for her birthday. Imagine my shock when I found out that I was being charged for a yacht. It can be said that she stole money.

“I just can’t say no to her, apparently,” the voice of the artificial intelligence says at the very end of the film. “Uncle Mo has been booked and busy, but I finally got him to narrate my trip!” the TikToker captioned the video to show his excitement over the trip. … BECOME EMBEZZED!? The hashtag #ai was also used in her post.

It was made very evident by the comments on the video that not all viewers were aware of the fact that Freeman was not actually narrating the video.

One individual said, “They are on Twitter thinking that this is actually Morgan Freeman,” while another individual stated, “People not knowing that this is artificial intelligence 😭 we are doomed.”

An further viewer responded, “He is so funny,” as if they were under the impression that Freeman was the one in question.

Freeman is the most recent celebrity to be tricked by artificial intelligence into mimicking him without his permission.

In January, deepfake “porn” photographs of Taylor Swift that were made by artificial intelligence became viral on X, which was once known as Twitter.

In May, Scarlett Johansson expressed her disapproval of a new ChatGPT function developed by OpenAI. The actress criticized the feature for adopting a voice that was “eerily similar” to her own. At the same time, she disclosed that she had declined to collaborate with the firm.

In June, Sheryl Crow referred to Drake as “hateful” for his use of an artificial intelligence-generated rendition of Tupac Shakur’s voice in his diss track “Taylor Made Freestyle,” which was directed at Kendrick Lamar.–6684ecaf7a826#goto8952–Temui-Kuasa-Kapsul-untuk-Penur/10696057–668525fe4833f#goto8972
